The upgrade fixed issues and bugs related to Vista. In regards to signing up and personal information, we do not ask for anything specific. We do not ask you your real name, address, or anything else that can identify you personally, so I do not understand how you can make the claim we are asking users to enter personal information. Many free services require registration and it is part of the new services we are going to offer in the future.

Unbuenmangu are you kidding? You get to listen to 7000+ stations for free. You get to record unlimited music for free. You can promote your band, post events, and create your own personal blog all for free. And you have nerve to trash Nexus because they ask you to sign-up??!!!! WTF is your problem man??!!! I do not see XM radio giving their services away for free! I do not see TiVo giving their services away for free! You sound foolish man and you should think before you post another rant. All these FREE services aren’t free to run and operate. Stop whining, STFU, and enjoy the music.

The last upgrade forces you to install a toolbar, this is called adware, and also anyway I don't like to register to use a program. What will be next upgrade?

I did a search for Nexus being Adware or Spyware and nothing came up. I checked the McAfee Site Advisor and they give the site, nexusradio.exe, and toolbar.exe a green light. Check it out for yourself: McAfee Results

Well this came up in a debugging program (Fiddler) while visiting NexusRadio.com

http://xslt.alexa.com/site_stats/js/t/a?url=www.egisca.com

And this is what McAfee has to say about Alexa.

So, why can't we address these concerns, rather than act like a bunch of hostile, cliquish teenagers when you don't share the concern?

At this point, I'm ready to dump the player and advise my friends and clients against using the player based on the attitudes of members and staff alone.

memoryinmotion we include the Alexa stat widget code on all of our pages. We also use the Quantcast and Google Analytics Code, so I am not sure what is your point? Thousands of sites include the Alexa site stats code.

I am amazed by the stupidity of some people. Just don’t use the fucking software and stop coming to the site. You few are going to ruin it for the rest of us who enjoy Nexus Radio. The way some of you go on you would think you paid for this shit. I agree with TattooInk and you fools should be more appreciative for all the free music you are getting. The way these people are going on you would think someone put a gun to their head and made them use the player. Do us all a favor and go the fuck away!
